Our Services — "The Core Service"


The 5-Steps outlined below are so fundamental to the college application process that they shape our recommended Core Service. Additional services are provided, but the Core Service represents the minimum that you should expect from any college counselor. Our initial consultation is at no obligation and is used to estimate total hours for your Core Service. Because complexity of the college process varies by student, the Core Service can vary anywhere from 8 to 22+ hours of counselor effort.

Assess Student & Family Needs(and Review the College Process)
To understand your expectations and provide you with an overview of the college process.

Match Students to Potential Schools

Assist with “Short List” of Best Fit Schools
To finalize where to apply and to ensure a balance of reach, target and safety schools.

To document a timeline of key events and application due dates for “short list” schools.

Provide Ongoing Advice
